ASSISTANT MANAGER – PRODUCTION FARM (BROILER, LAYER)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for our Production Farm specializing in Broiler and Layer operations. You will be responsible for overseeing overall production, monitoring biosecurity measures, and ensuring optimal flock performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee overall production and operations of the Farm (Broiler, Layer)
• Monitor biosecurity measures and farm hygiene standards
• Plan, implement, and monitor production schedules to achieve targeted egg output and quality
• Supervise and develop farm staff, ensuring proper training and productivity
• Ensure proper feed, health, and management practices for maximum flock performance
• Maintain accurate records of production, mortality, vaccination, and feed consumption
• Coordinate with senior management for farm expansion, cost control, and operational strategies

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animal Husbandry
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Strong communication skills in both English and Bangla, verbal and written
• Experience in the Poultry industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Tech-savvy, proficiency in MS Office, and software

Preferred Skills

• Experience in broiler and layer farm management
• Knowledge of biosecurity protocols
• Staff management and training experience
• Data analysis and record keeping skills
